San Antonio Fox affiliate KABB has promoted Jessica Headley to morning co-anchor.
Headley, who had anchoring the newscast on a fill-in basis since Monica Taylor‘s departure last month, will join co-anchor Ernie Zuniga, meteorologist Shaun Stevens and feature reporter Cleto Rodriguez on Fox News First, weekdays from 5 to 9 a.m.
“We are very fortunate to have someone of Jessica’s talents on our staff with the ability to step into this key role on FOX News First (FNF),” said Dean Radla, general manager of KABB. “Jessica’s history on the show and the comfort level that her past appearances on FNF create with our viewers make the transition seamless, and enable us to maintain our momentum and growth in the ratings.”
Headley joined KABB three years ago and has served as the morning traffic reporter for both Fox San Antonio and News 4 San Antonio.
