Columbus CBS affiliate WBNS has hired Jeff Booth as a weekend morning meteorologist.
“Jeff is a seasoned meteorologist and a tremendous asset to our team,” said WBNS GM John Cardenas as posted by Booth on his Facebook page. “I’m confident his skill set will reaffirm the high journalistic standards WBNS is known for.”
Booth was the chief meteorologist at WKEF–WRGT in Dayton, Ohio. He starts at WBNS on Monday, June 20.

“I’m very excited! I grew up in Columbus and can’t wait to move home,” said Booth. “What’s better is that I get to come work for the station that I, along with my family, grew up watching. My mom is really happy as well. Now she can watch her ‘baby’ on TV.”
