KMVT meteorologist Jack Holland is not returning to the Twin Falls, Idaho CBS affiliate after rape charges against him were dropped in early July.
The station held his position open for him during the trial. Now that charges have been dismissed, he says he’s not coming back.
“I have decided not to continue my employment with KMVT,” Holland told GM Tim Coles in an email.”I want to express my gratitude towards you, management and the Gray Television group for employing me over this past year.”
“We have been hoping that Jack would return to Twin Falls and KMVT this summer,” Coles told staff. “He has concluded, however, that now is the right time to seek new opportunities and new challenges. The KMVT family wishes him well on the next chapter of his professional career.”
