Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA has confirmed with TVSpy they will be launching a 4:00 pm newscast September 9.
Jason Wheeler will be the initial anchor of the hour long show. He will be joined by weekend morning meteorologist Colleen Coyle.
While other outlets have been reporting this might happen, this marks the first time it’s been confirmed by the station.

WFAA news director Carolyn Mungo told TVSpy “This is a great team and we’re looking forward to being in the 4pm space.”
