Just as TVSpy reported when she left Orlando NBC affiliate WESH, Martha Sugalski is joining ABC affiliate WFTV.
Orlando Sentinel TV critic Hal Boedeker reports Sugalski will begin anchoring at WFTV on Monday, August 24.
She announced the news on her facebook page in a video using her kids. Click here to watch.
WFTV told Boedeker its plans to fit Sugalski into its lineup.
Sugalski will anchor at 6 p.m. with Bob Opsahl and with Greg Warmoth at 11 p.m. On WRDQ-Channel 27, she will anchor at 10 p.m. with Jorge Estevez.
Martie Salt and Vanessa Echols will co-anchor at noon.
The station explained that Salt will have a new role: on-air ambassador for 9 Family Connection, which helps raise more than $20 million a year for worthy causes.
Echols and Warmoth will continue to anchor at 4 p.m. Opsahl and Vanessa Welch will anchor at 5 p.m.
