Ahh, live shot interruptions. They’re a dime a dozen in local news. Last year, we had that KOIN reporter getting licked, the KTLA reporter who was asked out by a shirtless dude, and the WESH reporter who had to flee due lightning striking at an inopportune time.
The new year is only 7 days old, but it looks like we’ve got our first live shot interruption of 2015, courtesy of a KTAZ, the Telemundo-owned station for Phoenix and Tucson.

Watch as the reporter above struggles to be heard over his interrupter. We’re not exactly sure what the guy in the yellow jacket is saying, but he doesn’t seem very friendly (at least there’s no licking involved).
