In Cincinnati, Multi-Talented Anchor Prepares for WXIX Debut

When describing new Fox 19 anchor Ben Swann, it’s hard to know where to start: Photographer? Minister? Reporter? Counselor?

Let’s just say Swann, who debuted Sunday with Tricia Macke, isn’t your typical TV anchor.

“My original intention was to be a minister, but I became a news photographer because I needed a job,” says Swan, from KTSM-TV in El Paso, his hometown. “I’ve been a youth or family minister for 17 years.”
