By Merrill Knox

After two months filling in on the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts, Iain Page has officially been named evening co-anchor at WTXF, the Fox owned station in Philadelphia.

“Iain’s on-air presence, engagement with viewers and versatility made him the right choice for this premier role on our evening news,” WTXF vice president and news director Jim Driscoll said in a statement.

Page joined WTXF in February as co-anchor of the 5 p.m. newscast alongside Kerry Barrett. When Thomas Drayton left the station in July, Page took over for him on the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts.
