KTRK meteorologist Casey Curry took a fall near the end of the Houston ABC-owned station’s noon newscast today.
Curry was about to do the last weather bit before the end of the show when she appeared to fall off the anchor desk riser. The anchors sprang to her aid while she sat on the floor and appeared to be holding her wrist. The station then went to a break.
>UPDATE: A KTRK spokesperson told TVSpy Curry broke her wrist. “…but Casey wants all of you to know she’s ok and appreciates your concern and well wishes.”

KTRK debuted the new set Sunday.
Anchors Melanie Lawson and Art Rascon told viewers “She just tripped a little bit here” and that she was being taken care of, but gave no details.
Viewers posted get well wishes on the station’s Facebook page.
