Stations in Hawaii are in extended coverage mode today, as the islands prepare for a pair of storms–beginning later today with Hurricane Iselle, believed to be the worst storm to hit Hawaii in 22 years:

A hurricane that beat the odds is poised to roar across Hawaii on Thursday, blasting the island paradise with heavy rains, damaging winds and hammering surf.

Hurricane Iselle is forecast to become the first hurricane to smash into the islands in more than two decades. A couple of days later, Hurricane Julio could be the second one.

Forecasters had expected Iselle to fall prey to the long trip across the Pacific and the region’s strong upper air flow that is capable of breaking up some of the mightiest storms. But Iselle was unrelenting, so the run on bottled water, milk and toilet paper is in full swing.

Full coverage details from all stations after the jump.

Ahead of Iselle, stations like Honolulu MyNetworkTV affiliate KFVE have continued their morning shows into rolling coverage, which can be watching via streaming here.

“Hawaii News Now”, seen on both NBC affiliate KHNL and CBS affiliate KGMB, is streaming its wall-to-wall coverage here.

Fox station KHON has devoted its entire homepage to hurricane news and preparations, as viewers still have a few hours before the weather is expected to deteriorate.

ABC station KITV has a live blog on its Pacific Hurricane Tracker page.
