Hena Daniels and Erika Martin Join WPIX

WPIX, the New York City CW affiliate, has announced the addition of two Connecticut reporters to its news team.

Hena Daniels joins from CBS affiliate WFSB in Hartford, Conn., where she most recently worked in the special projects unit. Daniels is a Queens native, so joining WPIX is something of a homecoming for the reporter, who is also an adjunct professor at Capital Community College.

Erika Martin previously worked at ABC affiliate WTNH in New Haven, Conn., where she was most recently the weekday evening meteorologist. She left her position there in December 2014.

Jessica Bellucci, director of communications at Tribune Broadcasting, told New England One that both women are joining the station in freelance positions.
