Evening anchor Heather Warner is leaving WPMT, the Fox-affiliate in York, PA, to spend more time with her family and pursue her master’s degree in communications.
“I will go from being on air every day to being in a classroom every day,” Warner, who anchors the station’s 6, 6:30 and 10 p.m. newscasts, told the York Daily Record.”I will hear sirens outside and the reporter in me will perk up and I’ll wonder what’s going on out there.”
Warner’s last broadcast will be today. Amy Lutz will debut as the new evening anchor tomorrow. Lutz most recently worked at WSYX in Columbus, where she anchored the morning newscasts.
