Tribune’s Hartford Fox affiliate WTIC showed off its new drone today.
“We streamlined live HD video back to the station for our viewers to see the morning sunrise over Waterbury, Connecticut,” the station told TVSpy. “The compelling view from SKY61 spanned three towns giving our viewers a great vantage point of the beautiful Connecticut landscape.”
The anchors told viewers they were excited about using the UAV to keep track of weather and traffic and for capturing nice shots of the sunrise. The station has three licensed remote pilots on staff.
