Hearst’s Birmingham, Ala. NBC affiliate WVTM has hired Guy Rawlings as an evening anchor.
Rawlings will work alongside Lisa Crane and Bettina Boateng. He comes from KTVT in Dallas, Texas where he is a sports anchor and reporter.
“Guy reflects a new energy at WVTM 13,” said Hank Price, WVTM president and gm. “As we continue to grow our news operation, Guy’s professional experience and fresh perspective will prove assets to our viewers.”

He started his career at WCJB in Gainesville, Fla. He’s also worked at WESH in Orlando and WGCL in Atlanta.
