Longtime Detroit reporter Guy Gordon is leaving NBC affiliate WDIV to host a radio show.
The Detroit News reports Gordon’s last day is Wednesday. He’ll begin hosting his show on WJR-AM on Monday, January 2.
He came to WDIV in 2004 after having worked at WXYZ since 1984.

“It is so hard,” Gordon told the News about leaving WDIV. “You have no idea how much I love these people and love working with them everyday, and I would have stayed forever had this unexpected gift not fallen in my lap.”
