Grease is the Word for Fox Owned Stations

As part of its push for Sunday night’s 7 p.m. airing of Grease Live, two Fox-owned stations treated viewers to revivals of the original’s musical favorites.

At WTXF in Philadelphia, the Good Day anchors did a rollickin’ version of Summer Nights. Though it kinda gave the appearance that Mike Jerrick and Alex Holley are fishing off the company pier.

In Washington, D.C., the Good Day team at WTTG did a version of “You’re the One That I Want” that was upstaged by the wig atop Tucker Barnes‘ head. Get that thing an agent!

Snarkiness aside, you honestly have to hand it to the anchors who just went out there and did it. Of course, for their sake, we’re praying Fox never puts on a Live version of Requiem for a Dream.
