Former WISH reporter Rick Dawson has died, the Indianapolis CBS affiliate reports. Dawson was 51.
In his local news career, which included 24 years at WISH, Dawson also worked as a reporter at stations in Fort Wayne, Ind. and Huntington, W. Va. Most recently, he was the news director for WFYI Public Media, according to the Rushville Republican.
“WISH would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to Rick’s family during this difficult time,” the station said in a statement.
