Longtime WBBH anchor Craig Wolf spoke to rival station WFTX this week about being fired by the NBC-affiliate last year. Wolf recently filed a lawsuit against WBBH, alleging that the station fired him in retaliation after he complained about “extremely unclean” conditions in the station’s newsroom and studio.
A WFTX news crew caught up with Wolf this week after he participated in a charity golf tournament.
“It was great to have a bunch of people come up to me and say ‘I miss you,'” Wolf told WFTX about being back in Southwest Florida. “But it’s not so great in Nashville, Tennessee where I’ve relocated, where I’m trying to find a job.”
Wolf also reminisced about his time at WBBH, calling it “the best years” of his life.
“But the last year has been not one of the better years,” Wolf said (video here).
