Former Philadelphia Anchor’s Husband Found Guilty in Racketeering Case

Rep. Chaka Fattah has been found guilty on all counts against him in a federal racketeering case.

Fattah’s wife, Renee Chenault-Fattah, who was an anchor at Philadelphia NBC-owned station WCAU until this February, figured into the prosecutions case after a co-defendant paid $18,000 for a Porsche owned by Chenault-Fattah.

The case, which included counts of racketeering, fraud and money laundering, centered on the 59-year-old Democrat’s efforts to repay an illegal $1 million campaign loan. Four of Fattah’s co-defendants in the case were also found guilty.
