The station is looking for Tressel to take daily news stories and turn them into teachable moments.

Tressel coached Youngstown State to four Division I-AA national championships then went on to lead Ohio State to a Division I championship in 2002.  However, his coaching career has been tinged with controversy.  Tressel stepped down at Ohio State in 2011 after being investigated for rules violations during the 2010 season.

“A Moment with Jim Tressel” will air Wednesday nights during WKYC’s 7 p.m. newscast.
