Jacqui Jeras, a former meteorologist at CNN, will sign on to WJLA in Washington, DC next month.

Jeras, who was based in Atlanta for CNN, left the network in May after 13 years. She begins as the morning and noon meteorologist at ABC-affiliated WJLA on September 5.

“I’m really looking forward to becoming a part of the DC community,” she said in a statement. “And I can’t wait to see snow again!”
