Former Anchor Patrick Emory Dies

Patrick Emory, a former anchor who worked for 33 years in markets like St. Louis, Los Angeles and Philadelphia, has died. He was 73.

KMOV reports, Emory was the main anchor at the station in 1973. The graduate of San Jose State University left to work at KNXT in Los Angeles. He had worked there in 1970. He came back to St. Louis in 1976 to work at KSDK. He then went to work in Philadelphia before working at CNN until 1991 and eventually retired from WFTS in Tampa in 2003.

KMOV reports Emory died of natural causes at his home in Florida.
