After 22 years at KRIV, Ford Atkinson is retiring from the Fox owned station in Houston, media blogger Mike McGuff reports.
“Whether on the anchor desk or out in the field reporting, Ford has established a solid reputation for his keen news sense and dedication to this station. We will miss his aggressive approach to covering news and wish him well in this next chapter of his life,” KRIV news director Bob Morford told McGuff.
Atkinson was a reporter for the morning newscast. Before he joined KRIV, he worked at stations in Montana, Washington, Utah and Arkansas, according to his KRIV bio.
