Riviera Beach Police Chief Clarence Williams is accusing a WPEC crew of racism after they came to his house Friday night.
As Gossip Extra first reported, Williams was mad a crew from the West Palm Beach, FL, CBS affiliate showed up at his house asking about an amber alert that had recently been lifted. The amber alert was for 2-year-old Le-Rail Johnson who was found safe over the weekend.
“I consider their actions a violation of public trust and RACIST!!” the chief wrote in an email. “No other public safety official in this media market has ever been treated this way.”
According to Gossip Extra, the chief refused to be interviewed for the story and claimed the crew disturbed his neighbors and his 87-year-old mother. See the entire email after the jump.
