Evy Ramos has been named anchor for San Antonio NBC affiliate WOAI.
She will co anchor the 6:00, 6:30 and 10:00 p.m. news with Randy Beamer.
“Evy is a true pro with great experience and a solid, if not superior, track record. I am certain San Antonio will find her the perfect complement to Randy and Delaine,” John Seabers, WOAI and Sinclair Broadcast Group Manager said in a statement. “I am thrilled she is here to help take our news presentation to the next level.”

Mathieu will continue to anchor the 5:00 p.m. news with Beamer.
Ramos left Fresno CBS affiliate KGPE last month. She started her on-air career at KMPH in Fresno. She has also worked at KGTV and Azteca America in San Diego.
