Even After LA Kings Win Stanley Cup, Local Reporters Still Can’t Get Their Name Right

The Stanley Cup championship was over.  The Los Angeles Kings had won the NHL crown, meaning that local news teams wouldn’t have any more opportunities to screw up their logo or continually get players’ names wrong, right?  Nope.

The Kings victory parade through the streets of Los Angeles gave KTLA chopper reporter Mark Kono one last shot at getting things wrong.  And he took full advantage, referring to the team as the Lakers (video above). [Via Yahoo! Sports]
