A KWCH employee became part of the newscast in Wichita.
According to a story on the CBS affiliate’s website, associate producer, Troy “TJ” Rigg was booked on electronic solicitation charges, a sex crime in Kansas.
Eyewitness News had received an anonymous tip over the weekend detailing “inappropriate conduct” involving Rigg. The email had photos of text message exchanges and pictures between Rigg and someone else.

The station called police. The allegations are under investigation. Rigg is on leave pending the outcome.
