Doug Sutton has been named gm and gsm of American Spirit Media’s Richmond CW affiliate WUPV, which is managed by Raycom in a shared services agreement.
“We are very fortunate to find a person with so much pertinent leadership experience to lead CW Richmond,” said Raycom Media Group vp Don Richards.
Sutton comes from WHDF in Huntsville, Ala. where he was gm. He’s also worked at WBMA in Birmingham, Ala., WLFL-WRDC in Raleigh, N.C., and WNCN in Raleigh.
