Don Hudson Comes Back to Salt Lake City

By Kevin Eck

Don Hudson will return as co-anchor for the KTVX 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. news.

Hudson, who left the Nexstar owned Salt Lake City ABC affiliate for WHEC in Rochester, N.Y., in July 2012, said in a statement, “I have lived all over the country during my 24 years in television news, but coming back to work in Utah is like coming back home.”

According to The Salt Lake Tribune, Hudson will join Kim Fischer, replacing current co-anchor Brent Hunsaker who is on assignment in Africa. Both Hudson and Fischer anchored the station’s 5:00 p.m. news before Hudson left for Rochester.
