Dick Faurot, meteorologist for Tulsa’s CBS affiliate KOTV and CW affiliate KQCW, just celebrated 20 years with KOTV.

On last night’s KQCW 9:00pm news, anchors Jennifer Loren and Chera Kimiko were joined by lead anchors Scott Thompson and Terry Hood along with chief meteorologist Travis Meyer who presented Faurot with a German Chocolate Cake inscribed with the words, “20 Years, Our Big Catch.”

Earlier in the show, the anchors rolled a clip reel of some memorable moments. “A lot of fishing and forecasting,” said Loren after the clip aired. “The things I have done for this TV station,” said Faurot. “I didn’t know your face could turn red under all the makeup,” added Kimiko.

“I’m blessed and humbled by all those comments and for getting the opportunity to work with a great number of people, including you folks over the years,” said Faurot who started at KOTV in 1993.
