Detroit Reporter Loses It at Something Called the Uncle Sam Jam

WDIV reporter Nick Monacelli made some good local TV Sunday morning by taking a hit to make a play.

While just writing the words — he was reporting live at the Uncle Sam Jam — make us feel like we’re living the dream, we can also say Monacelli got a bit out of control on his way down the super rainbow slide on his potato sack.

“And yes, that was my head against the metal gate at the end, but Motrin is helping!” Monacelli wrote on his Facebook page. “Thanks to Shawn Ley and Priya KM Dhillon for filling in the gaps when I clearly had nothing left to say!”
