KUSA sports anchor Drew Soicher is out at the TEGNA-owned NBC affiliate.
“He rewrote the job description for all evening sports anchors,” The Denver NBC affiliate wrote on its website. “From his iconic bobble head collection to Nick the sea lion predicting football outcomes, Soicher’s segments stood out from traditional sport broadcasts.”
The Denver Post reports “Soicher declined to comment when reached by The Denver Post. Calls to the station seeking comment have not been returned.”

Soicher joined KUSA in 2000 from KPIX in San Francisco.
