Denver Anchor Appeals to Viewers for Better Snow Pictures

By Kevin Eck

KUSA anchor Kyle Clark begged viewers of the Denver NBC affiliate to be a little more creative when it came to snowy weather pictures.

During the station’s 4:00 p.m. newscast anchor Kim Christiansen set up Clark’s rant by saying after a snowstorm, the station is flooded with snapshots of snow covered patio furniture.

Saying he thinks viewers simply snap photos of what they see outside their windows, Clark appealed to viewers’ “can do” attitude. “But are we really a state that takes the easy way out?” said Clark. “We blasted a road through the Rockies. We put a cliff inside a Mexican restaurant. Our welcome sign is a demon horse with crazy laser eyes.”
