David Letterman Edits WKMG Clip to Make Fun of Himself

Before David Letterman ends his 33 year run of late night funny, he took a little time to use Orlando CBS affiliate WKMG to make fun of himself.

Letterman did a “CBS Affiliate Roundup” featuring anchor Ginger Gadsden telling chief meteorologist Tom Sorrells she finds Letterman hard to watch sometimes.

She actually said it’s hard to watch Letterman because of her early morning schedule. But Letterman’s staff did some creative editing to make the funny. Check it out.

“I think it’s funny and an honor to have an icon make fun of you! It’s David Letterman!” Gadsden told Hal Boedeker of the Orlando Sentinel. “I’ve been to his show before and now I can say I was actually ON it. Of course, my appearance will have an asterisk.”
