David Bangura Named GM at WADL

wadl logoDavid Bangura has been named president and general manager at WADL, Adell Broadcasting’s independent station in Detroit, according to TVNewsCheck.

Bangura comes from WMYD, the MyNetworkTV affiliate in Detroit, where he has worked for 14 years. Most recently, he was the station’s general manager. WMYD was acquired by Scripps, and began to operate as a duopoly with Detroit ABC affiliate WXYZ, last week.

Before WMYD, Bangura worked as an account executive at WJBK, the Fox-owned station in Detroit.
