Dave McDonald has been promoted to senior producer, creative services at WPIX, Tribune’s CW affiliate in New York City. In his new role, he will be responsible for “developing high level image campaigns that support the emerging PIX11 news brand as well as new evolving station initiatives and partnerships.”
McDonald has been a writer, producer and editor at WPIX since 2001. Before that, he was a creative services writer and producer for WCAU, the NBC-owned station in Philadelphia.
“Dave is an Emmy Award and Promax Gold winning producer with over 15 years of experience in production, marketing, promotion and brand management. He has long been an important part of the PIX11 creative department, tireless in his pursuit of memorable creative work and is highly deserving of this promotion,” David Hyman, VP/Creative, said in a statement.
