Daniel Morcate has been named news director for WLTV, the Univision owned station for Miami, FL.
According to Media Moves, Morcate had been the interim news director since December 2013. Morcate has worked at Univision’s Network News Team where he had been chief newsroom editor for the past 20 years.
He started with Univision as chief writer and special projects producer for WLTV in 1987.
