It was a short Summer for WPIX’s Dan Mannarino. Mannarino, who was moved to weekend anchor at Tribune’s New York CW affiliate at the beginning of June, is back reporting and acting as a fill-in anchor for the weekday morning news.
At the time of his move to weekends, TVSpy was told the stint was for the Summer. A Tribune spokesperson confirmed Kaity Tong will anchor weekends solo for now.
Mannarino joined WPIX in September of 2011. Before coming to WPIX, he worked at NY1 News and Verizon FiOs1.
