Dallas Reporter Leaving TV for City Job

Steve Stoler is leaving Dallas ABC station WFAA.

Dallas media blogger Ed Bark reports Stoler is leaving to be the director of media relations for the City of Plano, TX.

Stoler started at WFAA in 2002. He began his career in 1980 at WCWB (now WMGT) in Macon, GA. He has also worked in Kearney, NE, Asheville, NC, and El Paso, TX, before working for 17 years at Dallas FOX owned station KDFW.

Stoler’s last day is December 6.
