Changes are coming to the weather team at KHOU, the CBS-affiliate in Houston, media blogger Mike McGuff reports.

Chita Johnson, currently the noon and 4 p.m. meteorologist, moves to the morning newscast, where she will work alongside co-anchors Lily Jang and Ron Trevino. The current morning meteorologist, David Paul, will move to the 4 and 5 p.m. newscasts.

Gene Norman will still handle the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts, and Mario Gomez will continue as the weekend meteorologist. A station spokesperson told McGuff the changes go into effect on September 3.
