Charlotte Anchor Joins CNN Newsource

Dianne Gallagher is leaving Charlotte NBC affiliate WCNC to work as a national correspondent for CNN Newsource.

“Dianne is an excellent reporter and we’re thrilled to have her join CNN Newsource,” said Paul Crum, vp of affiliate services for CNN/U.S. “Her diverse experience in the field will benefit CNN Newsource and its offerings for its more than 800 affiliates.”

Gallagher, who will be based in Washington, D.C., started at WCNC in December 2011. She worked at CN2 News in South Carolina, before that.
