Belvin Perry, best known as the Central Florida judge who presided over the tabloid trial of Casey Anthony, has signed on with Orlando ABC affiliate WFTV as a legal analyst.
“I am deeply honored and humbled to be affiliated with Channel 9, Central Florida’s leading news team,” Perry said in a statement quoted by the Orlando Sentinel.
The former Orange-Osceola chief judge has joined WFTV-Channel 9 as a legal analyst. Viewers could see him as soon as Thursday on WFTV’s newscasts.

The station’s news director told the Sentinel Perry would appear on the station’s newscasts, weekend public affairs program and family specials.
