Carleen Wild has announced she will be leaving WMTV, the NBC affiliate for Madison, WI.
Wild told viewers on the station’s facebook page she was “heading west.”
while I am sad to leave this community and my home, I am also excited to have the opportunity to be with my new family in South Dakota. This decision wasn’t made lightly, but I know my new life will afford me more time as a mom, a wife, and with the horses I have always wanted out my front door. I’ll post a few thoughts in the coming hours.

Before coming to WMTV in 2007, Wild worked in the non-profit sector for the University of Wisconsin’s Carbone Cancer Center. She has also worked at WISC, the CBS affiliate in Madison and at KECI in Missoula, MT.
