WIVB morning anchor Teresa Weakly is moving within Media General to take a job at its Grand Rapids, Mich. NBC affiliate WOOD.
“We are thrilled for Teresa,” acting news director Lisa Polster told The Buffalo News. “She is staying in the Media General Company. She has family there (Grand Rapids). She is a great journalist and will be missed but this is a great opportunity for her.”
Weakly started at WIVB in 2013. Before that, she worked at WKBN in Youngstown, Ohio. She started her carer at WKRN in Nashville, Tenn.
