Kris Anderson has been promoted to weekday morning anchor for Boston’s WHDH.
“I have worked so hard to get to this point in my career, and I can’t wait for the new adventures still to come,” Anderson wrote on his Facebook page. “I am so lucky that I’ll be working with not only two super talented co-anchors in Sarah French and Christa Delcamp, but also two wonderful friends! In fact, the entire morning team in front of the camera and behind the scenes are the best in the business, and I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with.”
Anderson said he starts his new shift January 1, when the station loses its NBC affiliation.
He’s worked at the Boston NBC affiliate since 2013. Before that, he was the morning anchor for WREG in Memphis for nine years.
