Boston Anchor’s Son Gets Job at Sister Station

Channel 5 anchor Ed Harding‘s son is heading to New Hampshire sister station WMUR-TV for a reporting job.

Adam Harding, a 2008 Emerson College graduate, “stood out immediately” from the dozens of reporters vying for the general assignment post, said WBUR news director Alisha McDevitt.

McDevitt tells MediaBiz the station was impressed with Harding’s hard-news reporting. She said Harding has worked as an anchor and “one-man-band reporter” for the last two years at KNDU-TV, an NBC affiliate in Kennewick, Wash. More…
