Boston ABC Affiliate Does the Anchor Shuffle, Adds Reporter

Beginning Monday, November 28, viewers of Hearst-owned Boston ABC affiliate WCVB will see some familiar faces in new positions.

Antoinette Antonio will move from co-anchor of weekend mornings to weekday mornings and will join Erika Tarantal at Noon.

Tarantal will continue to anchor at Noon, but will start contributing to Chronicle along with being the franchise reporter for 5 for Good.

Shayna Seymour will replace Antonio as co-anchor of the weekend morning newscast with Doug Meehan starting Saturday, December 3. She’ll stay on as a reporter and producer for Chronicle.

Janet Wu will go from full-time reporter to co-anchor of the station’s Sunday morning political show On The Record. She’ll also act as a political consultant for the station.

Julie Loncich will join the station as a reporter on Tuesday, while Emily Riemer has been named Medical Reporter and will continue to co-anchor the morning news from 4:30 to 7 a.m. alongside Randy Price.
