Bob Marra Returns to WPIX as Station Manager

wpixlogo_304WPIX is busy beefing up its executive ranks. In the second move announced today, the Tribune owned New York CW affiliate has named Bob Marra station manager.

Marra worked at WPIX for over 13 years before leaving to be VP and general sales manager of FOX owned New York stations WNYW and WWOR.

“Bob is a proven leader; and has guided teams to success for over 25 years.  He motivates and develops people, and his teams fight to win. His extensive industry relationships are unrivaled in New York and will prove to be an asset to PIX11 as we continue to grow the station,” said WPIX president and GM Rich Graziano.

According to Tribune, Marra will “serve as second in-command” and report to Graziano.

Earlier today WPIX announced David Hyman as VP of Creative Services.
