Bloomberg Television will cease production of syndicated market reports seen on nearly 200 stations across the country, a network spokesperson confirms to TVSpy.
The 60-second reports, anchored by rotating correspondents including Jane King, Deborah Kostroun and Ellen Braitman, will come to a close at the end of the year. The exit from the U.S. affiliate business comes as Bloomberg Television continues a network-wide shift to digital.
The unit that produces the reports includes about 10 employees, which the company is working to place in other production roles throughout the organization.
