Bill Mondora Named News Director at KTTV

KTTV_logoBill Mondora is joining KTTV, the Fox-owned station in Los Angeles, as vice president and news director. He will begin in his new role on April 7, KTTV vice president and general manager Kevin Hale announced today.

“Bill’s broad experience and news expertise make him the ideal candidate to lead our newsroom into the future, as we continue to grow and expand our dynamic news product,” Hale said in a statement.

Mondora joins KTTV from CBS, where he was the director of news and administration for CBS Newspath. He is a 24-year veteran of CBS who has also worked as deputy director of news for CBS TeleNoticias. Prior to that, Mondora worked at WCPX (now WKMG) in Orlando and KWTV in Oklahoma City.

“I am excited to join Kevin and the talented team of journalists at FOX 11 News. I look forward to working together to create interactive, engaging and powerful news content for our viewers,” Mondora said in a statement.

KTTV has been without a news director since Kingsley Smith resigned in October.
